A nationally syndicated radio host and Iowa conservative kingmaker said Carly Fiorina's went "full vagina" in her opening remarks in Tuesday's Republican debate and on Wednesday the former Hewlett-Packard CEO fired back.
Conservative talk host Steve Deace tweeted that Tuesday night that Fiorina's opening statement about her vocational and personal achievements was too mushy. He later apologized on Twitter, saying his wife and others convinced him he had made a poor choice of words. Deace supports Texas Sen. Ted Cruz for the Republican nomination.
Fiorina charged back, telling Fox News' Megyn Kelly on Wednesday, calling Deace's remarks "inexplicable."
"What's amazing to me is I told an American story last night in my opening comments, I told my story just like every other candidate has told their story, so it's inexplicable to me why this majority surrogate of Ted Cruz thought that was playing the v-card," said Fiorina, ranked eighth in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings.
