While most of the list of 2015's most-Googled politicians was pretty standard, there was one glaring omission: Hillary Clinton.
The former secretary of state did not crack the top 10, losing out to the likes of current Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, Democratic competitor and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and, most notably, farcical candidate and 15-year-old Iowands Deez Nuts.
Of the seven presidential candidates who made Google's list, Deez Nuts is the only one not currently in the race. Once his age was revealed in August, the Wallingford, Iowa, native dropped out and endorsed Sanders for the Democratic nomination and Ohio Gov. John Kasich for the Republican side.
The three non-presidential candidates who were the subject of much Googling in 2015 were former House Speaker John Boehner, former President Jimmy Carter and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.Read more on WashingtonExaminer.com
