A new poll from WSB-TV in Atlanta shows Donald Trump has a large lead on the GOP presidential field in Georgia.

Trump tops the Landmark/Rosetta Stone survey with the support of 43 percent of respondents. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz finishes second at 16 percent, followed by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 11 percent, while no other candidate received double-digit support. Approximately 13 percent of respondents remain undecided.

Ben Carson's support plummeted in Georgia in recent months. He dropped to seven percentage points in the new poll from 18 percent in a September survey. Bush dropped three percentage points since September, while Trump gained 12 percentage points and Cruz's support doubled.

Georgia is one of the Southern states whose votes will be counted on March 1. Part of the "SEC Primary" on Super Tuesday, Georgia could play a larger role in deciding the Republican Party's nominee than in recent elections past.
