Sanders: I give a damn!

Bernie Sanders appeared to take a thinly veiled shot at Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton on Twitter Friday.

"I got into politics not to figure out how to become President. I got into politics because I give a damn," the socialist senator from Vermont, now a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, tweeted.

Sanders writes most of his own posts on social media. He also presents himself as having been consistent on the issues, while Clinton has changed or equivocated on things like Keystone XL and the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
