Donald Trump is back to criticizing Chris Christie, less than 48 hours after the New Jersey governor snagged the coveted endorsement of the New Hampshire Union Leader.

The leading Republican hopeful questioned Christie's priorities on Twitter Monday, citing New Jersey voters' frustrations over their governor's frequent absences from the Garden State.

Former New Jersey Gov. James Florio shared his own concerns about Christie's absence from his home state during a panel in mid-November.

"Clearly there are horrendous problems to the degree that you have to be here to deal with them," Florio reportedly said. "I don't think that I could solve these problems without being here."

Despite mounting concerns that Christie's putting his White House bid ahead of his duties as governor, the Union Leader moved forward with its endorsement of the GOP candidate Saturday, claiming Christie is "the guy who can take the fight" to Trump.
