Hillary Clinton condemned Republican front-runner Donald Trump's plans to track all Muslims living in the United States, and called on all other candidates in the race to do the same, on Friday morning.
"This is shocking rhetoric. It should be denounced by all seeking to lead this country," the Democratic front-runner tweeted.
Her comments come in response to Trump's call for the creation of a national database to register all Muslims living in the country in order to prevent American against domestic terrorism. The candidate also called for more systems beyond his proposed database to track Muslim Americans and Muslims who immigrate to the United States.
In contrast to Trump's plans to crack down on Muslims in the United States, the former secretary of state called on the U.S. government to increase the number of refuges let into the country from 10,000 to 65,000 in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris.
