Secretary of State John Kerry reiterated his and the administration's continued policy of accepting Syrian refugees on Wednesday.
"We're going to visit, and invite visitors," Kerry said. "We're going to do the right thing by refugees."
Kerry's comment comes as congressional Republicans continue to oppose taking in refugees, and are working to set conditions on how they can be allowed in the country.
It also came on the heels of remarks from President Obama, who chided Republicans for fearing women and child refugees. Kerry kept up that criticism on Wednesday.Read more on WashingtonExaminer.com
