The fourth Republican presidential primary debate drew a record audience for Fox Business, which hosted the event.

A total 13.5 million viewers watched the Fox Business debate on Tuesday, according to CNN, citing preliminary overnight Nielsen data. The number is just short of the 14 million viewers who watched the debate in October, which was hosted by CNBC, the main rival of Fox Business.

The ratings for the Fox Business debate do not take into account viewers who live-streamed the event online.
