Bernie Sanders says that he is "not sorry at all" he let Hillary Clinton off the hook about her private email server during the first Democratic debate and that he will overcome her strong poll numbers to eventually win the nomination.
"No I am not sorry at all," Sanders told Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC on Tuesday. "What campaigns are about is to discuss the major issues facing out country. The email investigation is a process going on, let it go on … I want to focus on the real issues."
Sanders said during the Democratic debate that the public "is sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails. Since the debate, Clinton has received a clear bump in the polls and Sanders has suffered.
