After a rocky weekend of sparring with Donald Trump, the Bush campaign is launching a new video spotlighting Bush's vow to go after the entrenched government-business complex in Washington.

The video, which accompanies a Washington Examiner op-ed penned by Bush pledging to "end crony capitalism," calls the nation's capital "America's new boomtown," saying Washington is prospering "at the expense of taxpayers." Bush promises to shake up the system with a balanced budget amendment, a line-item veto, tax reform, and regulatory reform.

"Jeb will clean house in DC," the ad says.

Bush sparked some criticism on the left by saying he would like to see a "recession" in Washington — meaning he would like to put an end not only to the sprawl of government but to the widespread profit-taking of businesses that live off the federal government. This new video shows he's ready to keep up the argument.
