Donald Trump will be absent from the Democratic debate stage Tuesday night, but he will still be part of it in his own way.

"At the request of many, and even though I expect it to be a very boring two hours, I will be covering the Democrat Debate live on twitter!" the businessman and Republican presidential nominee front-runner tweeted early Tuesday morning.

The first Democratic debate is slated for 8:30 p.m. Eastern time from Las Vegas. Just five candidates will be on stage, compared to the 10 or 11 seen in the last two GOP debates.

"Someone should inform @CNN that, despite spending millions of $'s on graphics, it is not the Democratic Debate, rather the Democrat (s) D!" he continued.

(Some Republicans refuse to call it the "Democratic Party" because they do not want to say that the party is democratic.) "I think people are going to turn it on for a couple of minutes and then fall asleep," Trump said Monday on Fox News about the debate hosted by CNN.

At 23.7 percent, Trump leads a RealClearPolitics average of polls. Trump also leads the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings.
