Clinton sounded a cautious note on the Iran nuclear talks that are ongoing in Vienna, calling Iran the world's "chief sponsor of terrorism" and saying "they pose an existential threat to Israel" at Dartmouth Friday.

"I so hope we are able to get a deal next week that puts the lid on Iran's nuclear weapons program," Clinton said according to Politico. "Even if we do get such a deal, we will still have major problems from Iran."

"They are the world's chief sponsor of terrorism. They use proxies like Hezbollah to sow discord and create insurgencies to destabilize governments," said Clinton.

Critics of the Iran deal have charged that if the G-7 countries lift economic sanctions on Iran, the theocracy will send new-found cash to proxies and terrorist cells throughout the Middle East, a practice the country is already guilty of.
