A campaign potholder sent from California State Assembly candidate Darrell Fong has landed him in a little bit of hot water with some Sacramento voters, FOX40 reports.
The potholders were sent out by Fong and his wife, Joy, this week.
Linda Buzzini got one of the potholders Wednesday at the home she shares with her husband and her sister. The envelope was only addressed to the women of the household.
“I think if it had been a refrigerator magnet and the letter had been addressed to both my husband and I, like we got from other candidates, I would have felt differently,” Buzzini said. She told FOX40 she feels the gesture was “absolutely” sexist.
