To the high court, Governor Palin sends her gratitude. "Thank you [Supreme Court]. This ‘Obamacare' ruling fires up the troops as America's eyes are opened! Thank God," said Palin via an e-mail to this producer. "We will not retreat on this."
The Supreme upheld nearly all of President Obama's health care law. In a 5-4 decision, the court even ruled the so-called individual mandate constitutional. The mandate requires most Americans to obtain health insurance starting in 2014, or face a financial penalty.
Not only does Governor Palin say ‘Obamacare' takes away choice and freedom, she's believes that the law, if not struck down, will lead to the rationing of health care. Palin says ‘Obamacare' was "dealt in deception and confusion," and beating President Obama in 2012 is key to quote, "defending our Republic and fundamentally restoring all that is good in America."
"See, Obama promised the American people this wasn't a tax and he'd never raise taxes on anyone making less than $200k. We now see this is the largest tax increase in history. It will slam every business owner and every one of the 50% of Americans who currently pay their taxes. The other 50% are being deceived if they think they're going to get a free ride - because Medicaid is broke."
