GOP Senators to Dine With Cain

A group of GOP senators is headed to dinner Tuesday night with Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, will be there, according to an aide. The Air Force Reserves lawyer recently called on the GOP candidates to start speaking more about foreign policy, which might prove interesting with this candidate.

Cain, a self-proclaimed foreign policy naïf, famously described, in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network in October, how he would deal with "gotcha questions" from journalists, saying: "When they ask me who is the president of Uzbeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan I'm going to say: ‘You know, I don't know. Do you know?'".

The shindig, at Washington, DC's Bobby Van's Grill, was scheduled before recent revelations that two former female colleagues accused Cain, then the head of the National Restaurant Association, of sexual harassment. Cain, in an evolving series of explanations since Politico first reported the story this weekend, said he was "falsely" accused and admitted to some kind of financial "agreement" between one woman and the NRA.
