There was a big question mark out there about whether or not Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va, would support DADT repeal. He cleared that up with a floor speech just now. With a letter in hand from Secretary Gates THIS morning, Webb has the assurances, he says, that he needs that implementation of repeal will be done under a strict certification process that ensures unit cohesion, especially those in close combat unit.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, opponent of DADT repeal just delivered a strong speech in opposition, particularly hammering Democrats for not allowing any amendments that might have made, he says, the repeal go more smoothly.
