President Obama is meeting with the President of the Dominican Republic today, but domestic concerns remain high on his agenda. As the president continues to lean on the private sector to ramp up its hiring, his administration is opening a dialogue with the business community on the federal regulations that may be impeding that progress. Meanwhile, Mr. Obama's presidential commission looking into the safety failures and causes of the Gulf oil spill will meet for the first time in New Orleans.
