President Obama held his first full press conference today since July 2009. While he mostly spoke about the oil spill and BP and actions in the gulf, Fox's Senior White House Correspondent Major Garrett did get some information from the President about Joe Sestak and the rumors about administration offers of a job if he would step out of the democratic Pennsylvania Senate primary.
President Obama said he can assure the public "nothing improper" took place and he also said there will be an official statement shortly.
And since the President knows "shortly" in Washington can mean anything he clarified "There will be an official response shortly on the Sestak issue which I hope will answer your questions. You will get it from my administration. So, and when I say shortly, I mean shortly. I don't mean weeks or months."
