Congressional Calendar May 7, 2010

The Senate continues debate on financial regulatory overhaul legislation on Friday.

Coming on the heels of the latest unemployment report, the Joint Economic Committee meets to discuss the new numbers. Will there be cause for celebration or more bad news?

The House of Representatives meets at 10:00 a.m. ET for a pro forma session. Most members are at work back in their home districts, so they’ll just gavel in and then gavel out the House Chamber.
