For the second time, President Obama has postponed his upcoming trip to Australia and Indonesia, but this time, it's been put off unil June. The President has been entrenched in the health care reform debate and made the decision not to take the trip as the House and subsequent Senate votes approach. Votes are expected to begin Sunday, when President Obama was to leave for the trip. That departure was already a postponement from his original trip departure date of March 18th. The White House clearly thought the better of attempting the Sunday departure, lest they risk failing to pass Mr. Obama's signature legislation to date. The President has informed the Indonesian President and will do the same for the Australian Prime Minister later today.
