Michelle Obama's white chiffon inaugural gown is a one of a kind, but on Tuesday it will join the masses at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.

The First Lady will donate the dress to the museum's First Ladies Collection which will open on March 10th. Mrs. Obama wore the Jason Wu design to ten inaugural balls on January 20, 2009.

The dress will be showcased along with wardrobe collections from first ladies going back to Mamie Eisenhower. It's a tradition that dates back to 1912, when the wives of presidents first started sharing their inaugural gowns with the museum.

The exhibit will display twenty-four first ladies' dresses, including twelve inaugural gowns.

Fashion students from New York's Huntington High School have been invited to attend Tuesday's ceremony along with Mrs. Obama and Jason Wu.
