Rep. Delahunt (D-MA) to Retire

Fox confirms Rep. Bill Delahunt (D-MA) to retire, through senior Hill Sources.

Delahunt represents southern Masschusetts, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Under normal circumstances, pre-Scott Brown, this seat would be a gimme for the D's. Delahunt took over the seat from a Republican, the last GOPer to represent Massachusetts in Congress prior to Brown, in 1997.
