White House Plans to Fight Supreme Court Ruling on Campaign Finance

In a paper statement released by the White House, President Obama said Thursday's Supreme Court ruling on campaign finance benefits special interest money in politics.  "It is a major victory for big oil, Wall Street banks, health insurance companies and the other powerful interests that marshal their power every day in Washington to drown out the voices of everyday Americans."

President Obama says he wants his Administration to work with Congress on a response.
