President Obama is taking this Friday after Thanksgiving a bit easy, with no public events on his schedule. That's not to say he may not pop into the Oval Office for some work.
First Lady Michelle Obama, however, will be welcoming the arrival of the official White House Christmas tree at the front steps of the White House. This year's tree comes from Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The 18 ½ ft Douglas-fir will arrive on the traditional horse-drawn carriage to the North Portico. The tree will then be on display in the Blue Room throughout the holiday season.
We'll cover this LIVE at 2pm. [foxlivestream]
The Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden will remain with family in Nantucket, Massachusetts until Monday, November 30.
