Former President George H.W. Bush has celebrated his 85th birthday by skydiving over the coast of Maine.

Bush made a tandem jump Friday with a member of the Army's Golden Knights parachute team onto a landing zone near a church in Kennebunkport, where Bush has a summer home.

All of Bush's children, including former President George W. Bush, were on hand for the jump.

Bush's most recent jump was in November 2007 at the reopening of his library at Texas A&M University. He made his first jump as a Navy pilot when his plane was shot down over the Pacific during World War II. He also made jumps to mark his 75th and 80th birthdays and on two other occasions.
