July 23, 2007: After actress Winona Ryder received a probationary sentence for stealing and vandalizing merchandise at a Saks Fifth Avenue store in December 2001, a a probation report concluded that she had filled 37 prescriptions from 20 doctors under a half-dozen aliases during a 3-year period. Ryder's attorney, Mark Geragos, admitted at the time Ryder had a "pain-management problem."
