The first test of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) will take place on Sept. 10, 2008. The purpose of the CERN Control Centre (CCC) is to combine the control rooms of the Laboratory's eight accelerators, as well as the piloting of cryogenics and technical infrastructures.
