Aug. 10, 2008: Russian troops ride atop armored vehicles near the village of Khurcha in Georgia's breakaway province of Abkhazia, heading toward the border of Georgia. Russia's NTV television said more Russian troops arrived in the Abkhazian capital Sukhumi in addition to peacekeepers deployed there for more than a decade. Meanwhile separatist authorities in Abkhazia have mobilized the army and called up reservists to drive Georgian government forces from a small part of the province still under Georgian control.
