"The Misfits" (1961): Starring Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift, the John Huston film had doctors on set round the clock to treat the unstable Monroe and Clift. Monroe overdosed during filming and went into detox for a few weeks, while Huston's drinking reportedly led to several unexpected set complications. When filming wrapped, Gable is said to have proclaimed that Monroe nearly gave him a "damn heart attack." The next day, he literally suffered a massive heart attack. "The Crow"(1994): Despite its cult following, the film starring Brandon Lee has become as well known for its curse as it has for the spooky storyline and cool makeup. Several crew members were injured in mysterious accidents and set equipment was destroyed in mysterious fires. But the biggest tragedy of all was the death of the star Brandon Lee during filming. A scene called for him to be shot with a .44 Magnum filled with blanks. But when the scene got underway, Lee was fatally injured when one of the dummy bullets pulled loose from its brass casing and killed him.
