  • Gordon Ramsay Kerfuffle: It's still unclear as to whether or not the rumors of the celebrity chef's seven year side dish are true. Famed "professional" mistress Sarah Symonds has announced all sorts of rumors related to Ramsay, including that he had at least three lovers. But the spotlight hungry Symonds was also employed to drum up interest in the infidelity networking site AshleyMadison.com, and could be doing it all for the publicity. Spicy!
  • Kim Kardashian Sex Tape: Like ex-BFF Paris, the Playboy centerfold swears that her tape was released without her consent. Ex-boyfriend and co-star Ray-J later leaked angry phone messages from the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" hottie, but in the end all is well. Kardashian even told radio host Wendy Williams that her settlement from the sale of the tape was enough to buy "several" of her beloved Range Rovers.
  • TomKat: When Tom Cruise took us on his global gag tour, complete with over-the-top displays of affection on then C-list actress Katie Holmes -- who could forget the motorcycle rides, the passionate dip-kisses and the proposal atop the Eiffel Tower (gag)-- we all questioned whether it was real or fake. Internet bloggers swore that Tom had even gone so far as to hold auditions for his next wife. But in the end, it seems this union is real. As the strange but seemingly happy couple and parents to daughter Suri, these two are a match made in publicity heaven.
  • Brandy's Sham Marriage: From real love to fake love, singer Brandy makes our list for her infamous fake marriage to producer Robert Smith. After becoming preggers with Smith's baby, the then-squeaky clean singer announced she had wed Smith a year before and documented their "love" in an MTV film called "Brandy: A Special Delivery." But then in 2003 -- after a reported "divorce" and Smith's marriage to another woman -- Brandy confessed that the whole marriage was (GASP) a sham!! "I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model," she said, adding "Our relationship was very real, we just weren't legally married."
  • The Blair Witch Marketing Stunt: We all remember the commercials about the three documentary film makers who disappeared in the woods. According to the legend, their footage was found a year later and the most terrifying documentation of the supernatural was born. Too bad it was a fake! The grainy footage and gross closeups of runny noses were simply the work of some clever filmmakers looking to stir-up curiosity for their little movie ... and it worked! The film was a huge success and lives on as one of the great film hoaxes of our day.
  • Paris' Sex Tape Scandal: All celebrities please take note. Don't have sex with Rick Solomon. (Oops, too late Pam Anderson!)And if you do, make sure he isn't taping it. It's a lesson Paris says she had to learn the hard way, after a sex tape of the then-19-year-old star surfaced, reportedly without her consent. But when it premiered a week before her reality show 'The Simple Life' and she was later spotted with her brother buying copies of the tape, fans questioned whether it was a big oops, or a big PR stunt. The world may never know...
  • Cheetah Girl Nudie Pics: When Disney starlet Adrienne Bailon announced that her computer, containing nude pics meant for her boyfriend, had been stolen, we all collectively cringed for her. But as time goes on, it seems that both Bailon and her boo Robert Kardashian (brother of sex-tape starlet Kim Kardashian) might just be a little more involved than innocent. Was it all a ploy to vamp up the 25-year-old's image, or was it simply a case of bad luck?
  • Speidi Elope: Speidi aka Heidi and Spencer are so in love! So in love that they decided to marry in secret. So secret that they just happened to have an Us Weekly photographer present to shoot their cover-story! So did the couple ACTUALLY wed? Only time -- and legal documentation -- will tell.
