• Nov. 10, 2008: Anessah Tookes places American flags on the graves of military veterans in Tahoma Cemetery in Yakima, Wash., in observance of Veterans Day. Tookes, 15, is a member of the Junior Girls of the VFW Post No. 379. It's the first time the Junior Girls have placed the flags on the graves.
