  • An island in the Mediterranean, as seen from the air.
  • St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica. We spent lots of time here, but it's never enough. Blue skies and no clouds ... heaven sent weather conditions for our time in Rome.
  • Filming at St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica.
  • Filming at St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica.
  • Filming at St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica.
  • Statue of St. Peter holding "the keys to Christ's Kingdom." The huge figure is one of two flanking St. Peter's Basilica. The other is St. Paul.

St. Peter and St. Paul are the two pillars of the Christian church. On top of St. Peter's Basilica, in the center, is the statue of Jesus Christ.
  • Me at Trevi Fountain in Rome with roses given by one of the many very aggressive vendors. The vendor hands the roses to women telling them how beautiful they are. Yeah, I fell for it ... he got a few Euros out of me!
  • Ah! One of the fountains of Rome — the Trevi Fountain. It's absolutely spectacular!
  • A traditional legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome. Lauren made her own wish and then tossed a coin into the fountain.
  • The Roman Forum ... walking through history. Thousands of years old, this was the central area where ancient Rome developed commerce and government.
  • Buildings just outside Basilica Square.
  • The Jail is St. Peter’s — it’s the Mamertine Prison. From our Rome bureau, Mario Biasetti translated the Italian plaque. The dungeon prison is where St. Peter was held, and the small stone pillar is what he was chained to.
  • Interviewing FOX Religion Contributor Father Jonathan Morris in square outside The Pantheon in Rome.
  • Police car whizzing by our camera's in square by The Pantheon. Police are very protective of ancient sites, and very suspicious of camera crews.
  • Ah Rome! Enchanting sidewalk cafe. It's one of hundreds, if not thousands, in the ancient city. Life is to be savored there... never rushed.
  • The Beauty of Rome — a flower market.
  • The Colosseum, originally called Flavian Amphitheater. Construction started between 70-72AD and completed 80AD, and it could seat between 45,000 and 50,000 people. It certainly rivals any stadium built today.
  • The angel is holding the shroud that covered Jesus in his tomb. The statue is on a bridge that leads to St. Angel Castle, and all the statues display articles of the crucifixtion.

St. Angel Castle is connected to the Vatican by a fortified passageway. It was built as a mausoleum, then turned into a castle — but now it's a museum.
  • Flying over the Alps.
  • As were were leaving Jerusalem, we flew north up the Mediterranean and this is a view of the icy land in Turkey.
  • Jerusalem's Old City. Interviewing Armenian Priest Father Samuel at the Holy Sepulchre.

Father Samuel watches over the Holy Sepulchre during the overnights. Also in the picture are Producer Melanie Dadourian, Photographer Chris Jackson and Audio Technician Shimshon.
  • Photo snapped in Jerusalem.
  • Pilgrims, from India, at the Holy Sepulchre visting the site believed to be the tomb where Jesus was layed following his crucifixtion.
  • A tight shot of the entrance to the tomb in the Holy Sepulchre. It's a very small area with lots of elaborate and ornate artwork.
  • Lauren at the Holy Sepulchre — the tomb where Jesus was buried and from where he resurrected.
  • The Tomb was encased in a structure called the Edicule, shown here.
  • The exterior entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
  • Interviewing tour guide Laura Nelson at Holy Sepulchre. Laura is an expert on Biblical history. Tour guides in Jerusalem are highly trained scholars.
  • Walking through Arab quarter of Jerusalem's Old City with Laura Nelson. The streets are all narrow like this. No room for cars, only pedestrians.
  • Narrow doorway in Arab section of Old City. A contrast from the tourist shopping areas.
  • The candy in Jerusalem's Old City — I tried to resist, but after a few days of looking at it, I just gave in. I'm glad I did!
  • Victoria Secret, Jerusalem style! It's funny to see in such an orthodox city, blatant displays of women's unmentionables — but there are secular people living there.
  • A cat that just followed us around on the hill overlooking Jerusalem. He warmed up to the crew ... very sweet and affectionate. I have no idea where he came from.
  • Pastry in Jerusalem's Old City. Oh the food! I put on a few pounds.
  • Me and Jerusalem Bureau Correspondent Mike Tobin. He organized the big FOX crew dinner in Jerusalem. Thanks, Mike!
  • My new best friend! Camel rides on the Mount of Olives. I was too chicken to actually take a ride, so the camel and I shared some quality time.
  • Camera and me, filming our FOX News Channel Special at the Garden of Gethsemene. Hard to keep
focused on work because it was all so overwhelming to see for the first time.
  • On our way home, landing at Newark.
