RNC in NYC!

• 8th Avenue, just north of the Garden. Notice the satellite trucks parked on the West side of the street? These are just a few of many now surrounding MSG.
• One of many buildings in New York City taking new security precautions. Planters seem to be popular now... these will be filled with dirt and plants or trees, and presumably serve as a deterrent to car bombs aimed at this financial company headquarters.
• My friend Hollywood (audio technician, red shirt) and a couple of D.C. photographers take a break. They've been testing cameras and microphones on the floor all week.
• The temporary bridge built over 8th Avenue, connecting MSG to the post office building now housing network workspaces.
