John Huddy joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2014 and currently serves as a Jerusalem-based foreign correspondent.
Most recently, Huddy has provided live coverage on the war against ISIS in Syria and Iraq, as well as the Syrian refugee crisis. In 2014, he reported on the Israel/Gaza conflict from Gaza City and the Gaza border. Additionally, Huddy has covered the terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank.
Prior to joining FNC, he served as an Emmy Award-winning reporter for Fox 5 News at WNYW-TV (FOX 5) in New York City where he covered the Occupy Wall Street movement, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the Miracle on the Hudson plane crash, and numerous other national and international headline stories.
Huddy started his journalism career as a newspaper reporter for the Los Angeles Daily News. He also worked for newspapers in Idaho and New Mexico, earning investigative, feature and political reporting honors along the way. Before making the leap into television, Huddy was also the senior researcher on the New York Times best-selling book "Storming Las Vegas."
Huddy graduated from California Lutheran University with a degree in communication arts/journalism.
