John Huddy joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2014 and currently serves as a Jerusalem-based correspondent.
Most recently in 2014, Huddy provided live coverage of the Israel/Gaza conflict from the Gaza border. Prior to joining FNC, he served as an Emmy Award-winning general assignment reporter for Fox 5 News at WNYW-TV (FOX 5) in New York City where he started as a writer for Good Day New York. In 2008, he made the transition to on-air reporting, joining FOX 5's sister station, My9 News WWOR-TV (FOX 9) in Secaucus, NJ in 2008.
Huddy started his journalism career as a newspaper reporter for the Los Angeles Daily News. He also worked for newspapers in Idaho and New Mexico, earning investigative, feature and political reporting honors along the way. Before making the leap into television, Huddy was also the senior researcher on the New York Times best-selling book "Storming Las Vegas."
Huddy graduated from California Lutheran University with a degree in communication arts/journalism.
