How Much Should U.S. Get Involved in Egypt Crisis?

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned "in the strongest terms" the pro-government mobs that beat, threatened and intimidated reporters in Cairo and called attacks on peaceful demonstrators, human rights activists, foreigners and diplomats "unacceptable under any circumstances." U.S. officials, meanwhile, reportedly have been conducting talks behind the scenes with Egyptian leaders to expedite the transition of power.
