Assuming he has time to worry about these things, President Obama must be getting a shock these days when he looks in the mirror. Looking back is a man noticeably aging, at least when it comes to those spots of grey hair sprouting all over his head.
From the sides of his temple to the top of his skull, Obama now sports more than just a few stray specks of grey. Watching his televised appearance yesterday, I was struck by the rapid changes in his hair in less than six months in office.
Most troubling are those occasions when Obama presents tired ideas as new, when it's merely the packaging that is new. It makes him sound like a snake oil salesman.
Color me prejudiced, but the graying of our young President could be a good sign. It could mean the nonstop complexity of the job is getting to him. And that could mean he will slow down his madcap rush to change the world virtually overnight.
