President Obama made a surprise visit to Iraq on Tuesday. The president plans to visit troops at Camp Victory, as well as meet with his top commander in the country Gen. Ray Odierno. This is Obama's first trip to Iraq as president -- and it comes as he begins to execute plans to shift U.S. troops from Iraq, a war he opposed as a candidate, to Afghanistan. He originally planned to meet personally with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and President Jalal Talabani, but weather conditions are expected to prevent that.
