Obama's Letter to His Daughters

In a not so personal letter scheduled to appear in Parade magazine this weekend, President-elect Barack Obama has penned a note to his daughters Malia and Sasha. In his letter, titled "What I Want for You -- and Every Child in America," Obama tells his girls he wants them "to grow up in a world with no limits on your dreams and no achievements beyond your reach" and he also mentions why he ran for president saying, "I realized that my own life wouldn't count for much unless I was able to ensure that you had every opportunity for happiness and fulfillment in yours. In the end, girls, that's why I ran for President: because of what I want for you and for every child in this nation." The letter is signed "Love, Dad." Click here to read the full text at
