Nearly a year ago, Walmart launched a rare promotional campaign to highlight some of its good deeds, but is America ready to like Walmart?
Maybe not, but thanks to an orchestrated campaign behind the scenes, the company is starting to gain some traction by engaging with shoppers on social media, getting out the good word and most importantly, harnessing the power of the masses that actually like Walmart.
Each week, more than 245 million shoppers visit Walmart stores globally, and spent approximately $466 billion in it stores. And with 2.2 million store associates worldwide, it stands to reason a few might actually have a good opinion of the company (of course, plenty do not). It even topped a list of most patriotic brands.
