Obama unveils 'My Brother's Keeper' initiative

President Obama is calling on America's businesses, philanthropists and government leaders to join forces to put more young men of color on a path toward successful lives.

Obama will unveil his "My Brother's Keeper" initiative Thursday at the White House. He first announced plans for the initiative in January in his State of the Union address.

The White House says American foundations have agreed to spend at least $200 million over five years on programs to help improve the odds for young African-American men.
