The Department of Defense plans to release as many as 44 photos on May 28th thatshow detainees being held at prisons in Afghanistan in Iraq--the photos apparently depict abusive treatment and come just after the release of the Bush-era interrogation memos on enhanced interrogation techniques ---Catherine Herridge reports on the upcoming release and the possible fallout and concern inside and outside the administration. General David D. McKiernan led allied ground forces during the Iraq invasion in 2003 and was the top American commander starting in
Afghanistan in June of '08.... but yesterday Secretary of Defense Robert Gates asked for McKiernan's resignationand nominated Lt. General Stanley McChrystal to take over his post. "Today we have a new policy, set by our new president," said Gates. "We have a new strategy, a new mission and a new ambassador. I believe that new military leadership also is needed."
