Lauren Ashburn joined the network in 2013 and currently serves as a Washington-based contributor for FOX News Channel (FNC).
Ashburn joins FNC's Howard Kurtz on MediaBuzz (Sundays 11AM-12PM/ET) to discuss the state of the news media and the media's shaping of current events and their role in politics, culture, business, technology and sports.
Additionally, Ashburn has served as a contributor to The Daily Beast, CBS's The Early Show and WUSA-TV (CBS 9) in Washington, DC. She has written for USA Today, The Washington Post and The Huffington Post. Previously, she hosted HDNet's Debate series and served as a managing editor for Gannett Broadcasting and USA Today Live where she produced award-winning television series. She was editor-in-chief and founder of The Daily Download.
A recipient of Albright College's Young Alumna Achievement Award for career performance, Ashburn graduated from Albright College with a B.A. in English and Spanish. She went on to receive her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
