Jim Pinkerton

Jim Pinkerton joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in 1996 as a political analyst. He is also a regular on "Fox News Watch."

Pinkerton has previously worked in the White House under Presidents Reagan and Bush, and also in the 1980, 1984, 1988 and 1992 Republican presidential campaigns. He is a fellow at the New America Foundation in Washington, D.C. and a former columnist for Newsday.

Pinkerton is the author of "What Comes Next: The End of Big Government and the New Paradigm Ahead."

Pinkerton's work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and USA Today among others.

He is a graduate of Stanford University.
