Dr. David B. Samadi

Dr. David B. Samadi joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in 2009 as a medical contributor. In this capacity, he contributes to both FNC and FoxNewsHealth.com.



Previously, Dr. Samadi was a Fox Medical A-team panelist for "Fox & Friends," "America's Newsroom," "America's News Headquarters" and "The Live Desk." He was also the co-host for The Strategy Room's "Headline Health" on FOXNewsHealth.com.



In addition to serving as a contributor to FNC, Dr. Samadi is the Chief of Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He is a board-certified urologist who treats prostate cancer patients. His medical expertise is in general medicine, robotics and minimally-invasive surgery, urology, cancer (especially prostate cancer) and in men's health.



The recipient of the "America's Top Doctors" award, Dr. Samadi was also named among New York Magazine's Best Doctor List in 2009, 2010 and 2011.



Dr. Samadi, who received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York, completed his general surgery residency in the Montefiore Medical Center and completed his Urology Residency in the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
