Dave Briggs joined FOX News Channel (FNC) in 2008 and is the co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend. Additionally, Briggs serves as a co-host of "FOX & Friends First." Presented weekdays at 5 AM/ET, the program is an hour-long expansion of "FOX & Friends" and is anchored by a pair of rotating hosts.



Prior to joining FNC, Briggs was host and reporter for Comcast SportsNet New England where he covered the unprecedented 16-0 regular season of the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics 17th NBA Title. He was also a sports anchor for WHDH (NBC) in Boston where he covered the 2004 and 2007 World Series Champion Red Sox. In addition, he served as sports anchor for KOKI (FOX) in Tulsa as well as the sports director for KEVN (FOX) in Rapid City.



He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast News.
