Bob Beckel joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in 2000 as a contributor. He rejoined the network in 2011 and currently serves as a co-host for "The Five," where he is one of five rotating Fox personalities who discuss, debate and at times debunk the hot news stories, controversies and issues of the day. He is also a columnist for USA Today.

Previously, Beckel worked for the U.S. Department of State and became the youngest Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Carter Administration. In 1984, Walter Mondale asked Beckel to manage his campaign for presidency. As national campaign manager, he oversaw the successful race for the Democratic nomination.

Beckel holds a B.A. from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York.
