Kevin McCarthy said of GOP hardliners threatening to boot House Speaker Mike Johnson that he should “just govern fearlessly” and not “worry about the motion to vacate” or the press, and Congressman Matt Gaetz, who introduced that motion to oust McCarthy last October, “has broken the Republican majority,” but Republicans now realize that “wasn’t a smart idea.” He also said that Biden should speak out and block Trump’s indictments.

Tomi Lahren said that the media “clutch their pearls about Donald Trump” reporting on the salacious Stormy Daniels hush money trial in which he is being put on trial for “morality” but ignore “actual crimes that are hurting actual people.” She also said that NPR’s senior editor Uri Berliner was intimidated into resigning this week for revealing the outlet’s “liberal indoctrination” in an online essay and interview earlier this month, and the new CEO Katherine Maher is “the Queen of Woke.”

Lucy Caldwell said that jurors in Trump’s Stormy Daniels hush money trial can have opinions about Trump but still “carry out their duty.” She also said that former NPR editor Uri Berliner shouldn’t have been “trashing his employer. That is not normal. He’s not a media reporter.”

Olivia Beavers said that if House Speaker Mike Johnson loses his gavel in a motion to vacate, Republicans “are going to be so down, feeling like they don’t deserve the House.” She also said that “more and more” Republicans do not expect Johnson to win the next speaker vote in January.

Trey Yingst said that Israel’s “calculated maneuver” to strike Isfahan, Iran without commenting has given Iran an off-ramp to say they don’t know who is responsible while Israel can “send a message.” He also said that while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly says that the Israelis won’t be swayed by America, “the Israelis rely on the United States not only for military equipment, but also intelligence support.”
