• NYFW - Pamella Roland Makes New York City the Star for Fall 2014

Artist T.J. Wilcox was the inspiration for Pamella Roland's fall 2014 New York fashion week show at Lincoln Center earlier this month.

The artist recently had a show with a piece called "In the Air," at the Whitney Museum that showed a 360 degree view of New York City from his studio in Union Square. Roland who is an art collector helped Wilcox fund the exhibition, and said her first glimpse of his view on a studio visit inspired her collection this season. Roland said, "The inspiration was 1930's New York Art Deco.

Roland said she was inspired by Wilcox's unique view of Manhattan. Roland's clothes are made in New York, and the city was the star of the show showing up in dresses and in fabric choices. "We don't realize how many great buildings we have in this city," Roland said.

The clothes looked great on the runway. Check out the pictures below.
