Another day of meetings at the United Nations today after what may be a breakthrough on Syria's chemical weapons. It looks like the five permanent members of the U.N. security council have agreed on a resolution to inventory, seize and destroy Syria's chemical weapons. It's in response to Syria's murder of some 1400 civilians using gas. There is *not* however, apparently any mention of military retaliation if Syria doesn't comply. Eric Shawn reporting.

It's looking increasingly likely a government shutdown is coming. The Senate is set today to approve legislation to avoid a government shutdown after Ted Cruz's dramatic 21 hour speech. Despite that, it's fate in the House is hard to predict and the clock is ticking. The government is expected to run out of money around Tuesday.

Republicans in the House suggest they'd fund the government in exchange for a delay in Obamacare.. which is set to rollout it's exchanges in just three days. WH and Dems say that's a non-starter. Exciting times.
