      New polling suggests last week's debate did serious damage to President Obama. New polling by Gallup and Pew show the race moving in Romney's direction. There's also several new battleground polls showing a Romney swing in several states. Take a close look at the Pew poll of likely voters. At one time Governor Romney had an 18 point deficit among women. Now President Obama and Mister Romney are even among women. Blogger and gadfly Andrew Sullivan today in a column asking if President Obama "just threw the election away?"

      The latest polling just adding to the pressure on Vice President Biden to perform in his first and only debate with Republican VP nominee Paul Ryan on Thursday.

      Lots to digest here.

      Convicted child molester and former Penn State Asst football Coach Jerry Sandusky will be sentenced today. He was found guilty on 45 counts of child sex abuse. Last night in a jailhouse interview, Sandusky insisted he's innocent and didn't get a fair trial. We *cannot* report sentence until court is adjourned per judge's ruling.
